Final Assignment: Digital Awareness Who is your target audience? My target audience is to anyone who purchases online items, but especially young kids who are not 100% sure what they are doing when buying things online What is the issue? How will you make your target audience aware of it in your message? The issue is young kids, or anyone who is not safe when purchasing items online and could get scammed. I will make them aware by warning them of the dangers of online shopping. What is the call of action? The call of action would be to check to make the website you are buying off of is legit and is secured, which you can check by the left side of the search bar. What would be effective images to complement the message for the poster? I put a caution sign on my poster because nothing catches someone's attention more than a caution sign

Journal Entry #8 The thing that surprised me the most in this unit was that online there is a lot more laws than i thought and people probably break them all of the time Things i found confusing was the copyright law and why they made it so you have 50 years after die and then you lose the copyright. They were pretty helpful in explaining all of that cause i just had the general idea of it. I think it is very helpful for kids that are being cyber bullied because it gives the options and ideas on how to help or solve it and it gives them people to talk about it to. I think the biggest issue with it is that they don't think about and assume that because it's on the internet they can just use it. I think the biggest problem with kids and cyberbullying is that kids all want to be better than each other so if they get the chance they will make someone feel like there nothing.  

Journal Entry #7 Yes i think have access to the internet is a basic human right because i don't think anyone should not be allowed to use the internet. I think there is enough places for people without internet at home, because nowadays almost every fast food restaurant has wifi. I sometimes do but i just don't post the main information I don't want people to know. I used to be scared of that all the time when i first got facebook because i thought i’d never get a job if i posted dumb things. I think the biggest issue with young people is that they post a lot of things they shouldn't and don't think about what that can affect in their lives.

Privacy Please Our medical records should be digitally stored online for all medical professionals to access within the hospital when needed. For: This is a great idea because it would be easy for doctors to quickly open up your medical records to help you. This would also be very good in an emergency because they could pull up your information right away. Against: This is not the best idea because a random person could possibly get onto to this and see things that that person is embarrassed about or doesn't want people to know. Also a creepy person could possibly get access to your information. Schools in 2020 should be closed and teachers and students should begin learning in virtual classrooms using digital technology at home. For: This is a good idea because kids and teachers wouldn't have to get up super early and get ready for school and can instead just do it at home. It would also be better for kids that dont like being around a lot of people. Against: ...
