Automobile Design

The thing I found most interesting was the process of designing the car and drawing it out. I find it interesting how percise you have to be while drawing out and seems like you would have to be very skilled to do so.

Some things I think the designer has to consider is if things like the technology in the car and the design of it are like newer looking cars because by the time that's fully ready cars may have newer looks and technologies.

The clay model making method was introduced by General Motors. It is still used today because using clay makes it is easier to add or remove it to make detail adjustments to the model.

Some advantages are being able to fully design the car and paint it to see what it looks like to see if its good or not.
